There are many opportunities for fellowship in the youth department such as:

Sunday night meetings,

monthly gatherings,

retreats and road trips.

 

These groups meet at The Escape.

Attention High School Seniors!!!   The Church in Aurora Scholarship

The Memorials committee is receiving applicants for the annual Church in Aurora Scholarship.  This scholarship is available to any high school senior who is an active member of our church.  The monies from this scholarship are to be used for advanced education either for college/university or for vocational school.  Applicants are reviewed as to financial need, a lifestyle in accordance with Christian principles, academics (min. 2.5 GPA), and participation in church sponsored activities.  Applications are available online at The Church in Aurora website or may be picked up at the Church Office.  All applications must be completed and returned to the Memorials mailbox or the Church office no later than May 15th.  The scholarship recipient will be announced on Senior Recognition Sunday.  If you have any questions please contact Sally Finet at 330-562-4149 or email her at afinet@aol.com.

 

Youth Group Chaperones: Chaperones are always needed for the youth department in various aspects; from teaching, cooking, listening, to being on a team sport.  If you would like to become a chaperone, please call our youth director and leave a message telling her you would like to be a part of the action.
