Church Standards Committee
The Church Standards
Committee’s responsibility is to look after the overall appearance,
decoration and architecture of the building. The proposal is to
establish a group responsible for review and approval of all changes or
additions to the interior or exterior of the facility and personal
property. The first task for the group might be to establish guidelines
or policies for the facility and a standard way to present requests for
review.
It is further
recommended that this new group operate under the Trustees, with a
trustee as the chair and other members as follows:
-
Board
representative (The Trustee chair)
-
Long Range
Planning representative
-
2
members-at-large with appropriate background (decorator, architect,
etc.)
-
One of the
Pastors as ex-officio member
The Committee
members would initially be appointed by the Moderator. Terms would be
a part of the policies developed and proposed by the first committee. |
