The Church In Aurora -

On Sunday, July 16th 2006 Kevin and Kathleen were honored for their 25 years with our church. Rev. Schnell based his sermon "Enduring Partnerships" on the celebration of their service to us.


Peter French, our moderator, presented them with a certificate. Ann Womer Benjamin gave them a monetary gift to which the congregation had contributed.

Tanya Shively read a poem at the Silver Tea. The congregation visited with them and were able to view a picture board of their life with us.

Sunday, July 16, 2006 will forever be a highlight in our ministry here at The Church in Aurora. It was a day of many surprises as you helped us celebrate our 25^th anniversary of ministry here. Where have the years gone? The church has been a wonderful place not only to serve , but to raise a family as well. Your generosity is second only to your thoughtfulness and friendship. Lord willing, and yours, we look forward to the next 25 years!

In the meantime, we will echo God’s inspired words through the apostle Paul, “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1.3-6)
